A firefighter works with a team. Loners do not have a room in this type of job. You need to be able to form and maintain effective and harmonious relationships with your superiors, colleagues, and subordinates. You must be able to get along with others and work efficiently in a team.

They should be honest, caring, generous, and selfless. They must have the desire to help and serve people no matter what their age, race, class, or appearance are.

Of course, becoming a firefighter does not mean that you only need to possess all these qualities. You also need to undergo proper training and education in order for you to learn the many duties and responsibilities required for this job. You need to learn to use firefighting equipment like fire hose, wet chemical fire extinguisher, and fire blankets among many others. You must learn about the emergency procedures and steps for rescue operation. You must equip yourself with knowledge, training, and experience on fire safety, prevention, and emergency preparedness.
